(01) · WHO I AM
Ana Nave

My way of working did not emerge from a linear path. It grew out of seeing business from many different vantage points.
My academic background in animal science led me to work directly with producers and take part in research projects in meat quality, aquaculture and sustainable animal production, in both Portugal and Spain. Alongside this, I worked in fields as varied as catering and photography, among other experiences that taught me how to observe people, operations and the many ways value is created.
Later, I built a business from scratch. It began with home delivery of organic produce baskets and grew into an organic grocery and café. More than a place of business, it became a meeting point for people, ideas, music and conversations around different ways of understanding and living in the world.
For ten years, I was involved in every part of the business: suppliers, purchasing, product, operations, customer experience, communication, sales, finance and day-to-day decisions. It was a hands-on education, without shortcuts, in what it takes to build, sustain and develop a real business.
I also worked in procurement and accounts payable as part of international operations supporting Germany and Spain. This deepened my understanding of internal processes in a multinational environment, supplier relationships and the importance of clear, rigorous and sustainable systems.
Today, I bring these different perspectives together to help businesses find direction, structure their digital ecosystem and build more connected relationships with their customers. I look at each business as a whole: what happens before communication begins, what supports a sale and everything that needs to work afterwards.
I do not believe in marketing that exaggerates, conceals or promises more than a business can deliver. I believe in honest communication, grounded in strategy, structure and execution that reflects the reality of each business.
Beyond maps, processes and systems, writing, especially poetry, gives me another way of understanding the world. I am fascinated by abstract ideas when they touch everyday life, by unhurried conversations and by the worlds that live inside other people. To me, listening is not just a human quality. It is an essential part of the work.
My way of working grows out of this journey, shaped by experiences that may seem distant and dissonant, yet are deeply interconnected:
Strategy first. And execution where it matters.
